The Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios Universitarios de la Universidad Central de Venezuela is a volunteer fire department and USAR team operating from Venezuela's most prestigious university.

El Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios Universitarios de la Universidad Central de Venezuela es un cuerpo de bomberos voluntarios y equipo USAR que opera desde la universidad más prestigiosa de Venezuela.

Firefighters, paramedics, and urban rescue specialists who volunteer their time and put their lives on the line — not for a salary, but out of a commitment to their community. We exist to make sure they have the tools to do it.

Bomberos, paramédicos y especialistas en rescate urbano que donan su tiempo y arriesgan su vida — no por un salario, sino por compromiso con su comunidad. Existimos para que nunca les falten las herramientas.

Bomberos UCV has been protecting the University Central of Venezuela and surrounding communities for decades. Through every emergency, these volunteers train, respond, and show up — because no one else would.

Los Bomberos UCV llevan décadas protegiendo la Universidad Central de Venezuela y las comunidades aledañas. En cada emergencia, estos voluntarios entrenan, responden y se presentan — porque nadie más lo haría.

They are students, professors, and community members who chose to dedicate their free time to the most demanding work imaginable. This is a legacy of service built year after year, long before any camera was watching.

Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) is the most physically and mentally demanding discipline in emergency response. It requires specialized gear, technical rope skills, structural assessment, and the ability to operate in environments that are actively collapsing.

La Búsqueda y Rescate Urbano (USAR) es la disciplina más exigente física y mentalmente en la respuesta de emergencia. Requiere equipo especializado, técnicas de cuerdas, evaluación estructural y la capacidad de operar en entornos que siguen colapsando.

Between emergencies, Bomberos UCV trains relentlessly — rope techniques, victim extraction, trauma triage, hazardous materials response. They invest their personal time so that when the moment comes, they are ready to save a life in seconds.

Entre emergencias, los Bomberos UCV entrenan incansablemente — técnicas de cuerdas, extracción de víctimas, triaje de trauma, respuesta a materiales peligrosos. Invierten su tiempo personal para que cuando llegue el momento, estén listos para salvar una vida en segundos.
